Liberated by Love

There is no such thing as true love. It was all a big lie. Alice’s past was more than evidence of that. She convinces herself of that before trying to end her life. The second attempt lands the eighteen-year-old in a psychiatric hospital for a month.

Encouraged by her mother to make a fresh start, Alice leaves Detroit and moves to the home of relatives in the mountains of North Georgia, but not before changing her name and identity. Beth is determined to bury the past and Alice along with it. Seclusion, numbness, and thick walls become her only means of survival.

Zach Taylor, a next-door neighbor oblivious to her past, sees beyond the physical beauty of this young woman and longs to know her. As Zach’s unconditional love begins to breach the walls Beth has erected, buried horrors from her past surface, and the dark voices return.

Is the love of this man enough to gain victory over the spirit of death?

The Long road to the heart

In a single day on the dusty Texas roads outside of Abilene, Roy Morris loses everything. Some would argue he got what was coming, while others would say he simply reaped what he sowed. Roy has no job, no money, no future. But it is of no fault of his own. The world is against him. It always has been.

Under a starry night, the twenty-two-year-old stands alone beside a shack he used to call home. The windows are darkened; his wife and daughter gone. In a drunken stupor, Roy walks the highway with absolutely nothing, not even hope. But in the darkness, the unexpected happens. Hope finds him.

Hitching a ride with a trucker named Joe turns out to be anything but normal. The man knows things, things that Roy doesn’t even know about himself. There is something mysteriously unnatural happening right before Roy’s eyes, something that breeds hope. The trucker asks for nothing in return for his help but one thing. Roy must trust him no matter what happens. There are no exceptions…

The Falling Crown

Life is good. Within the heart of Chicago, twenty-five-year-old Sam Johnson is climbing the ladder of success. He owes this success to one thing: burying the horrors of his past in a deep grave and putting all his strength, energy, and focus into his future. The sky was the limit, and Sam would soar high.

Then one evening, within a vision of the night, Sam observes a mysterious crown of gold tumbling through the air. As he watches it fade into the blackness, sorrow fills his heart, though he doesn’t know why. The bizarre dream follows him into the waking world and sets into motion a chain of events that drags Sam back into the darkness of his past, one that he thought had been buried forever.
